EverStride is a 2D endless runner that places emphasis on a straightforward yet engrossing cycle of leaping, lo-fi tunes, and a tranquil cityscape. EverStride represents my debut in the realm of game development, and I trust that you derive as much pleasure from it as I did when crafting it. In conceiving EverStride, I sought out elements that gripped me within a mobile game and expanded upon those. The notion of melding soothing lo-fi melodies with an uncomplicated yet captivating gameplay loop of leaping appealed to me.Features of EverStride:
- Easy mode integrated into the game-over interface and settings menu, which decelerates gameplay and reduces the number of obstacles.
- Separate leaderboards for standard and easy modes.
- Tracking statistics for the count of runs, cumulative distance run, and total number of obstacles encountered.
- Three colorblind modes available—protanopia, deuteranopia, and tritanopia.
- Support for 15 languages: English, Arabic, Chinese (Simplified), Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish, German, French, and Hindi.
- Option to disable camera shake and haptic feedback, silence all sounds, and adjust music volume.
- Three extra unlockable scenes.
